Will both the truck and SUV have a All-4 lock-up mode, meaning all 4 tires will drive like in old-school 4WD systems. I watched a video of a Tesla M3 Dual motor basically stuck in 4 inches of snow because it could not spin the wheels to dig in and get traction.

An automobile club is opened for the agile and active paths of the organizations. The club is readily engrossed for the bits and online college homework help in the phase of the calculation. It is improved for the opening of the facility's adoptions for the members of the club.
Brett is correct. For drive-train, each wheel is powered by a 147-kW electric motor mounted between the hubs, front and rear. Precise torque control enables maximum performance.
So yes, Rivian will undoubtedly be marketing 4WD/AWD EV's. As for a 4wd lock mode option, that is a whole new ground that needs to yet be revealed. Welcome to the forum, Mark!
I don’t think anyone other than Rivian has the actual answer, but the way I understand it is the vehicle has 4 motors (1/wheel assembly) which will be computer controlled so as if there is any slippage on one wheel, then the others will continue to spin. Possibly generating additional torque to the “contact” wheels, but that’s just a guess.
