I'm not sure how well that would fly with legacy dealerships. Imagine the owner of a F-150 rolling in for an oil change then having a talk with the owner of a Rivian R1T, or when the dealership starts selling EV's that are competing with the Rivians.
Perhaps a better approach is a national startup that offers Service & Support to owners of EV's that don't have dealerships. The EVS&S could obtain contracts with the individual EV manufacturers. They would offer support as to how the vehicle works, diagnose problems and/or effect repairs. As Quickie Lubes go under the buildings could be repurposed to that end.

I never actually thought about that. Now to think of it, what Rivian is doing...makes a lot of sense.
