Good question....I'm in the same boat. I think that the idea called EV Match is great. Via a registered location, allow passers by to stop by to charge at your house for a modest fee, and hope they will do the same for you if on a longer trip.

I was there yesterday after a four hour drive and it looked like the event went great. The weather was good and lots of company employees, maybe five or six around each of the three vehicles plus another ten inside recruiting employees and giving out tee shirts. What I went to learn and see.. Tires are 275x60, r 20s, interior upholstery is "vegan leather", plant derived???...interior armrests etc are "polyester" but that does feel like leather. Floors are washable and the mats are made of chilewich whatever that is. An East Asian man who works at a company near the plant says he doesn't see many employee cars in the plant yet. Another non company guy said they are still waiting for the assembly line machinery to arrive and be installed. Everyone is ready and anxious for that, and me to as I am a reservation holder. RJ was there with the Governor. Someone said RJ is only 37 years old, but looks like everything is under as much control as can be for something like this that has never been done.

Probably just the back seats then...like she's used to. Fold up a wire kennel to take with and set it up in the back for the days hunt. Sometimes she will retrieve skunks, so have to be prepared.

Can anyone guess what size and kind of specialty tires might run on the R1T? Tires on the Chevy EVs are designed for easy rolling and milage The early tires were a little harsh to listen to.... The R1T as inspired will need some for basic snow and ice with mud and rock being a secondary consideration for me. Highway comfort and reduced noise would be nice as there shouldn't be any engine noise to listen to.

Good question needing an answer. My Nissan Frontiers have had small 5000# quick detachable winches that are handy to have aboard. The mounting spot could be made with a smooth shroud where and when the winch is not mounted. Kevlar rope keeps the weight down.
