Just pre-ordered the SUV. Now I have to decide if I'm patient enough to wait (I'm replacing my Odyssey but want to go EV NOW!)

This question has been asked a lot already. But is there any update on when Rivian will take pre-orders from outside North-America? I live in Norway and I‘m drooling all over the truck🤣😜 It was mentioned in an article last December that pre-orders might open in February.... Well, February is long gone and I am still drooling and can’t wait to place a pre-order.

Stop worrying about Tesla or what other people think. If you like the R1T buy it. It is going to be a very special vehicle. Live your life!

I pre-ordered back in Nov 2018 but I'm concerned about lack of interest compared to Tesla. Rivian might want to tone down their rhetoric about off road adventures and focus more on being a mid sized urban truck. I think their yuppie attitude is turning people off. Ir isn't my interest. I have to focus on what my expectations are.

Preordered the R1S at a very early stage and am more excited than ever. Traveled 12 hours to attend the event in Denver and the vehicles are even more gorgeous in person. Was fabulous to talk to the Rivian engineering folks and ask any and all questions.

R1T, Really looking to get back into a truck and electric is the way to go. 17 Bolt and 13 CMax plug in.

EV nut here. Previous EVs include 2013 Ford Focus EV, 2014 Toyota RAV4 EV, 2016 Tesla Model S 70D, and 2018 Tesla Model 3 LR. Current EVs in the household are a 2017 Tesla Model X 100D, a 2017 Chevy Bolt EV, and a 2019 Toyota Mirai (ok, technically it's a fuel cell vehicle but is still propelled by electric motor). Placed deposit on a Rivian R1T before end of Dec. 2017 after seeing it in person at the LA Auto Show.

Well, after months of following Rivian and forums, I pulled the trigger early this week. I placed my pre-order deposit for the R1S. Given that, I'm still very anxious to see either of these EAVs in person *and* hopefully sit in one of them. Though, I get the feeling if I want this to happen sooner than latter I'm going to have to take a rood trip. It would have to be within a reasonable distance (midwest) as I need to save my pennies if I'm going to keep my order.

I pre-ordered the Truck. I hope you guys can negotiate the telsa charging head as that system is nation wide. if not, then maybe an adapter to that system? In my town, Telsa charging systems are everywhere. I also hope the Radio System in the cab, has build in Siriusxm and Garmin navigation, as well as a build in dvd player, with that large screen it would be cool to watch videos parked at a camp site.

Pre-Ordered the Truck

Ordered the R1T a few weeks ago. I’ve been on a different forum since then but it only has 25 members at present. I forgot that I joined this one until I got an email that reminded me that I’m in the ”Rivian Club”. I drive a Jag F Pace S and a ‘66 Bronco. My wife a Model 3. I used to have a Chevy Avalanche 8.1 L. 40 gallon tank, 11-12 mpg. I miss the ride but not the gas bill.

I've pre-ordered a few EV's. Tesla 3 reserved for 1 year, Audi E tron, and test drove and was serious about the I-Pace. Canceled first two and walked away from the I-Pace.Drove the Model S and really liked it but couldn't commit on another sedan. The Tesla model X was not my kind of SUV. I hope this does it for me.
