Rivian has stated for a while now they will NOT sell their EAVs via dealerships but instead thru direct sales.
As for service and maintenance, they have not official announced anything yet. However, there have been at least two times I've heard when Rivian reps were asked if they will provide "white glove" service, their responses were they will first attempt to diagnose a reported problems remotely (OTA - over the air). If the problem is software related they will attempt to fix it also OTA. If they are unable to determine the problem or fix it remotely they will then dispatch someone to you (similar to Tesla road ranger). If unable to fix the problem at your location they will flatbed your EAV to a "nearby service center" (again, undefined at this point) and leave you with a loaner. That's all we know so far.
