It would be great to put a truck camper on this. Yes, the range would probably drop in half, but that is ok. Campground charging would be useful. Any idea if the clamps can work with a battery on the bottom? 2500lb would be desired if possible.

An after market camper would not be available until someone new the specs and more than likely see the vehicle to build a proper fit. No doubt many that make truck campers would create one.
There are rumors of Rivian including other R1T Configurations with the camper bed add on. We will have to see in the future. @bradcster
