Are you asking that we compare the low quality vaporware Tesla truck to the high quality vaporware Rivian truck or the real Tesla sedans and crossover to the vaporware Rivian (note: the quality of a vapor depends on how much liquid it contains - this is a refrigeration term)? Right now there are doubtless some Tesla owners so mad at Tesla that they'd rather have anything that has 4 wheels and electric traction than a Tesla but there are probably others so enamoured of their Teslas that nothing could convince them that a superior vehicle is possible. Saner (i.e. less emotional) people cannot choose. It's going, ultimately, to be a "soft decision" as to which is preferable as there are many factors and a choice, even a soft one, cannot be made now as we don't know if Rivian's promises, or even its vehicles, will ever actually come to pass.

I voted for Tesla because I own a Model 3 currently and have not been able to actually view and/or sit in a Rivian. Very excited to see this pickup.

Nope i consider them as contemorarys Tesla on wants to promote a brighter future. and as i have not seen Rivian acting like it was competing.. just for all i have seen so far trying to put out a quiality Electric Pick up.. since no one else would...

I only gave Tesla my vote because at the moment Tesla is proven. I don't see any rivalries as these are businesses not sports teams. I hope Rivian isn't using the outdoor theme only to play down any lacking in quality. I will not pay for a $100K submersible battery on a Yugo body.
