It seems Rivian is choosing to offer 3 different roof options which will be selectable in the configurator. I’m hoping this will be one of only few customization options to decrease the chances of my configured vehicle ending up a lot more expensive than I want it to be and far away from the prototypes we see on videos which are likely the top end trims.
What are your opinions on the levels each roof option will be? What is your opinion on what the price will be for each upgrade? My guess below, but I have no idea of cost differences. Personally I would prefer the glass roof if I can afford it.Nox VidMate Mobdro

I really like that idea too! However, I think the added cost and the very small amount of power you would get for such a large battery pack would make it less cost effective. I wonder if this would be more feasible as solar cells continue to improve over the next several years.

Tier 1 only because tier 2 will most likely be very pricey and I would never remove the roof of tier 3. I've had two vehicles with removable roofs and both were too much trouble.
